Quality Apprenticeships accreditation is open to employers of any size and in any industry. Accreditation is country specific; if you work across multiple countries you may wish to consider applying for accreditation across all locations.
To become accredited, your business must work in a country that is operating the Quality Apprenticeships model. You can find a list of partner countries on the home page.
Accreditation is based around the five principles of quality apprenticeships. Employers must demonstrate commitment to all principles and must meet all other eligibility requirements.

Supporting employment
Utilises apprenticeships as a means of creating entry level pathways and supports apprentices from the start of their employment.
Equality & diversity
Apprenticeships are non-discriminatory and used to increase workforce diversity, and apprenticeship vacancies are promoted to a broad audience.
Wages & conditions
Processes support apprentices to understand their workplace rights and ensure that all apprenticeship conditions are met.
Health & safety
Safety and health are prioritised for a workplace that supports employee physical and psychosocial wellbeing.
Staff development
Learning and development of apprentices is ensured through supervision and mentoring by appropriate and trained staff.
Eligibility
Quality Apprenticeships accreditation is open to employers of any size and in any industry, who employ apprentices in a country offering accreditation.
Eligibility criteria for becoming accredited are:

Your business must employ or have employed apprentices within the past 5 years.
◦
Your business must meet all mandatory requirements within the Quality Apprenticeships accreditation, which are highlighted in the question guide section of this document.
◦
An authorised staff member must make a declaration that all responses and evidence are true and accurate, and must agree to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of Quality Apprenticeships accreditation for your country.

Mandatory requirements
There are a number of accreditation questions which have mandatory requirements. If your business does not meet these requirements, you will not be eligible for accreditation.
These questions are highlighted in the User Guide for your country, which can be downloaded after creating an account. If you give a response that indicates you are unable to meet the requirements, you will receive a notification message that you are not eligible for accreditation.
Application fees
There is a fee payable on submission of your accreditation application. Fees are set by the country. Please check your country page for more information.

The Quality Apprenticeships User Guide contains details about the full accreditation process, including questions, mandatory items, evidence requirements, and examples. Each country has a User Guide to support applicants in their region. Businesses must create an account to access the full user guide.
